Newly divorced actress Katie Holmes with Jeremy Strong see an off Broadway production of "If You Haven't Found it Yet" staring Jake Gyllenhaal. After the play the pair grabbed a coffee.
Katie Holmes spent the weekend getting theatrical with actor Jeremy Strong.
The two took in the drama “If There Is I Haven’t Found It Yet” Saturday afternoon at the Laura Pels Theatre before going on a walkabout through Manhattan.
Strong co-starred with Holmes in the 2010 comedy film “The Romantics.”
Strong has mostly racked up theater credits, though he has also been seen in films including “The Happening” and “Humboldt County.”
Holmes is slated to tread the boards herself this fall when “Dead Accounts” opens on the Great White Way.
“If There Is I Haven’t Found It Yet” stars Jake Gyllenhaal, whose sister, Maggie, replaced Holmes in the role of Rachel Dawes in the “Batman” movie franchise.
Holmes was sans 6-year-old daughter Suri when she took a cab Saturday to meet up with Strong at a Times Square Starbucks.
After the matinee show, the pair strolled to Chelsea and stopped in at the Ace Hotel on 29th St. for some java and then meandered to her building.
Apparently trying to avoid the paparazzi camped outside, they took a circuitous route and used the garage entrance to get inside.
One spy told the Daily News that Holmes was “smiling, very relaxed” on her afternoon out.
Despite the intense spotlight she’s under, Holmes hasn’t shied away from public appearances, taking little Suri all over town. On Sunday, they joined Katie’s brother, Martin, at the Hudson River Park.
And on Monday, she was spotted with Suri in Brooklyn’s chic DUMBO, where the grade-schooler rode the historic Jane’s Carousel.
